2 sugar glider babies adoption in Bedford Corners, New York
I have to unfortunately sell my babies, Minnie and lightning. Lightning is neutered so you will not have babies with this brother and sister. They are almost a year old sugar gliders, raised oop by their mother who was adopted already with their father. I will not sell them separately as they like to be in "packs" and they don't do well by themselves. They live a very short and lonely life if alone. Human companionship isn't enough for them. My son had asthma and we didn't realize that he was allergic to them until recently. They are a part of our family and they must be adopted by a family that can properly care for them. Sugar gliders are marsupials...nocturnal. They are hard to maintain for and not a simple "pet".they require lots of attention, about two hours a night/early morning. They sleep in the day so they are called pocket pets(you can keep them in your hoodie or in your shirt/bra. They are very cuddly during the day as they are sleeping and love to play at night. They cannot be potty trained, But you can let them void and stool in the cage first before you take them out to play. They love chasing feathers, run in hamster balls, forage for treats, and chase small balls around the room. They are fed a special diet which takes some getting used to, preparation is key. You need to be educated on these animals before you make a decision that will impact you for 20+ years. The cage needs to be cleaned daily as they do have a sweet/musky scent that is released to mark their territory.
